Bio
Cletus L. Werner, the son of Peter and Esther (Arlt) Werner was born on February 26, 1944 at St. Edward, NE. Clete was baptized and confirmed at the St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward. He attended school at Boone County School District #59 and graduated from St. Edward High School in 1962. On April 30, 1966 Cletus was united marriage to Catherine Wozny at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fullerton, NE. The couple lived and farmed east of St. Edward. In 1992 they moved to St. Edward. Clete drove trucks for Werner Trucking for 12 years. He enjoyed working with and riding horses, along with playing cards and spending time with his grandkids. Clete was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward. On Thursday, April 29, 2010 Clete passed away at the Boone County Health Center in Albion, NE at 66 years of age. He is survived by his wife Catherine of St. Edward; 5 children: Patrick and wife Diana of St. Edward; Ann Hadenfeldt and husband Monty of Doniphan, NE; Elizabeth Czarnick and husband Allan of St. Edward; Peter Werner and wife Sara of St. Edward; and Alan Werner and friend Lori of St. Edward; 17 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Carolee Werner of Parump, NV; Wilma Reitz and husband John of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; 1 brother Clifford Jaixen and wife Norma of Columbus, NE; along with many other relatives and friends.
