∼ OBITUARY OF J. R. LOGAN PERRYTON, November 04 -- J. R. LOGAN, 21, of Perryton, died today of injuries suffered in an oil field accident about 11:00 a.m. LOGAN, who was employed by D-and-L Well Service of Perryton, at an oil field about 7 miles east and 1 mile north of Gray, Oklahoma, became entangled in the catline of an oil rig while helping swab out an oil well hole, according to members of the Ochiltree County Sheriff's department, who investigated the accident. LOGAN was dead on arrival at Sanford Hospital here. He had been rushed by Boxwell Brothers ambulance into Perryton, as sheriff's officers blocked key intersections from oncoming traffic. Survivors are his wife, Linda; a son, Lonnie Ray LOGAN of Borger; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. LOGAN of Perryton; and two brothers, Billy LOGAN of Borger, and Gerald LOGAN of Perryton.
