Bio

Vera Opal Tredway Vera Opal Tredway, age 97, of Greenville, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville. She was born on March 6, 1913, in Greenville, to Willard Lee and Annie Adams Wallace, they preceded her in death. Vera married Buell Ervine Tredway on November 24, 1928, in Greenville. Together they had one child, Carl Ervine Tredway. Both her husband and child also preceded her in death. Ms. Tredway never left her home town of Greenville and was proud of her many friends over the years. She most recently attended the Cross Point Fellowship Baptist Church in Greenville. In her free time she loved watching her sports, especially the Cowboys, Mavs, and Rangers. Ms. Tredway is survived by one niece, Joanne Coleman, of Farmersville, and one nephew, Larry Tate, and wife Sandra, of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services for Ms. Tredway will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Vansickle Cemetery with Reverend James Corbitt officiating.
