Gwenda Hill Ashley, 66 of Holiday Beach/Fulton, and formerly of Slocum, died March 23, 2008, in Victoria. She was born in 1941 to Oran and Gladys Hill of Slocum. Mrs. Ashley is survived by sisters, Kay Pryor and husband Freddie of Palestine, Nell Conaway and husband Charles of Palestine and by Linda Barber of Elkhart. -Palestine Herald-Press, April 4, 2008
