EARL D. BRUMFIELD Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Memorial Services for Mr. Earl D. Brumfield, 95, of Hempstead, TX formerly of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Hasley Memorial Pavilion in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Brumfield was born on October 26, 1914, to Joe and Mildred Rowland Brumfield, and passed away on April 24, 2010 in the Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home in Carencro, LA. He spent the last 45 years in Hempstead, TX, where he retired from Brown & Root and the State of Texas. While in West Monroe, he was a salesman for Tom's Foods for several years. He served in the United States Navy in his early years. Mr. Brumfield is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Dwight E. Brumfield; daughter, Earline Bryant; granddaughter, Heather Rowland Tyler Storm and grandson, Timmy Bryant. Survivors include his four daughters, Annamarie Tyler and husband, Richard A. Tyler, Annette Gilley and husband, Tom Gilley all of West Monroe, LA, Becky Myers and her husband, Tom Myers and Gwen Hurley both of Carencro, LA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
