Capt. Peyton N. Hale served in F4 Va. Inf. CSA. Killed in battle of Manassa, 35 yrs. 7 mo. 21 days. His parents were Lewis and Elizabeth Bourne Hale. Hale grandparents were, Lewis and Mary Burwell Hale. Peyton married Rosamond Amanda Cornett, daughter of Eli and Sena Hale Cornett.
