LEXINGTON — Services for Ellen LaVerne Dunkin Clark, 75, of Lexington will be 11 a.m. Monday at Knobbs Springs Baptist Church in the Knobbs Springs Community with the Rev. Gary McManus, the Rev. Mark McBride and the Rev. David Attwood officiating. Burial will be in Adina Cemetery in Lee County. Mrs. Clark died Thursday, April 22, at her home. She was born on April 21, 1935, to Jess Robert and Garland Mae Huff Dunkin in Bastrop County. On March 23, 1951, she married Leverette F. Clark in LaGrange. She was a member of Knobbs Springs Baptist Church; the Red Hat Club; the Garden Club and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 28, 1998. Survivors include a son, J.R. Clark of Lexington; three daughters, Linda Gale Robinson of Austin, Peggy Jo Biehle of Lexington and Judy Lyn Broussard of Pflugerville; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Lexington. ------------------------------ Ellen LaVerne Dunkin Clark was born April 21, 1935 in Bastrop County, Texas to Jess Robert and Garland Mae (Huff) Dunkin. She was one of 11 children. Ellen was a homemaker and rancher. She was a member of Knobbs Springs Baptist Church, the Red Hat Club, Garden Club and Lexington Chamber of Commerce. On March 23, 1951, she and Leverett F. Clark were married in LaGrange. To this union four children were born. Ellen passed away Thursday evening, April 22, 2010 at her home in Lexington, reaching the age of 75. She was preceded in death byher husband on February 28, 1998. Her parents, four brothers and six sisters. Surviving; Her son, J.R. Clark and wife Gloria of Lexington. Three daughters, Linda Gale Robinson and husband Tom of Austin, Peggy Jo Biehle and husband Larry of Lexington, Judy Lyn Broussard of Pflugerville. Nine grandchildren, Jennifer Biehle, Joshua Clark, Jennifer Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Penny Biehle, Christina Lann, Philip Anderson, Kirsten Anderson and Ashton Broussard. 12 great grandchildren. Visitation is 6PM to 8PM Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services; 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Knobbs Springs Baptist Church in the Knobbs Springs Community. Burial in Adina Cemetery in Adina. Rev. Gary McManus, Rev. Mark McBride and Rev. David Atwood officiating. Pallbearers; J.R. Clark, Larry Biehle, Harold Mundine, Joshua Clark, Philip Anderson, Jeffrey Brown.
