CHARLES THEODORE HAYS From "The Jenks Journal", Jenks, OK, October 23, 1969 CHARLES THEODORE HAYS, 79, died Sunday following a long illness. He was born in Kenton, W. Va., and had lived in Jenks the past 50 years. He was married to Almeda Jane Spencer Hays who died in 1967. They had two children, Stanley George and Leona Ruth Hays Howard. Hays was a member of the Christian Church of Jenks, Independent Order of the Odd Fellows since 1920, Jenks Lodge 497, and a 32nd degree Mason. Surviving in addition to his children are four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday afternoon in the First Baptist Church with interment in Memorial Park under direction of Riverside Funeral Home.
