Bio
Parents: Charles and Johanna (Batla) Motl. She was raised in the Seaton area, and attended school there. She married Thomas Hoover on Aug. 1, 1941 in Temple, Texas. Tom was in the Air Force, so they traveled far and wide. Clara was a good homemaker and a meticulous housekeeper. She stayed busy with her hands by sewing, gardening and cooking. She did embroidery and crewelwork, made lots of great cakes, and roses kept by her are still blooming. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Clara was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter Carol Chronister and her husband Rick of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Becky and Joey, and Melinda and James; great-grandchildren Hayleigh, Justin, Jason, Jacob, Tyler, and one on the way; sis-ter-in-law Ottie Motl of Ft. Worth; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and seven brothers and sisters
