Married Wilma Mahdak in 1947. Wilma born 24 January 1915 Ennis, Texas, died 25 January 2008. Only child Gary George Gribbin born 7 November 1952 Dallas, Texas, died 16 February 2008 Dallas, Texas. Both Wilma and Gary were cremated and their ashes strewn around Lake Tawakoni, Texas.
