Survivors: wife, Gladys; nephews: Philip E. Grubbs-Plano, Jerry L. Grubbs-Dallas, George Grubbs-Bedford & Charles Bailey-Dallas; nieces, Peggy Luhring, Betty Flannigan, Carl Ann Grubbs-Dallas, Frances Perry-Grand Prairie; loving friends, Chuck & Lynn Ashmore. Services will be 9:30 am Sat., 16 Nov 1996 at the Restland Wildwood Chapel with interment in Restland Memorial Park. Lemuel's siblings are Severne Ashford 1902-1964 Vera Augusta Grubbs Reynolds Crady 1904-1977 Othello Hubert 1906-1978 Althia G. 1909-1911 Jeanie LaVon Grubbs Bailey. 1912-1993 William Evin "Jack" 1914-1987 Lemuel was named after his maternal grandfather Lemuel Lafayette Johnson 1856-1938 buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Kaufman County, TX.
