son of Thomas Joseph Allen - Lucy Ruth "Lorena" Bell Joseph Allen married Rebecca Ann Coffman in 1870 at Parker County, Texas. Joseph Allen and his wife, Rebecca bought land near the Gage Creek area by Eliasville in 1875. Joseph and Rebecca Allen patented land in Young County by 1881. Four children were born to their marriage, three died in infancy. In 1879, Joseph Allen and his wife Rebecca Allen deeded part of their land for the establishment of the first Eliasville School building. Farmer Joseph Allen was a brother of - Andrew Jackson Allen GL
