Edith E. Boelter, 86, of New Braunfels passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Kirkwood Manor. She was born to Albert Brandt and Alma (Taylor) Brandt December 6, 1923 and married Delroy Boelter on October 9, 1943. She is survived by daughter, Nancy Elbel and husband Guswin of New Braunfels; sister, Ruby Doull and husband Larry of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Evelyn Neel and husband David of Center, TX; brother, Albert Brandt, Jr. wife Sherry; sister, Lillie Jonas of New Braunfels; and sister, Mary Arguelles of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Bryan Elbel and wife Beverly of New Braunfels; and Jeff Elbel and wife Sherri of Converse, TX; great-grandchildren, Kristopher Elbel, Kyle Elbel, Gregory Elbel, Kimberly Elbel and Hope Elbel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delroy Boelter in 2006; parents, Albert and Alma Brandt; sister Laura Glenewinkle and brother, Fritz Brandt. Public visitation will begin 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends from 5-6 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Zoeller Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Comal Cemetery.
