Bio

MARTIN WINCKLER was born in Alsace, Germany, Dec. 14, 1840, and came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. X. Winckler, when but six years of age. He was married to Catherine Riedy at Naperville and of the children born to them, four sons and one daughter survive him. They are William, Joseph, Lewis, Albert and Mrs. Gus. Weigand. Mr. Winckler died at Corn Lea, Nebraska, on March 3, 1909, at the age of 68 years. His remains were brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. X. Drendel, of this city, and funeral services were held at SS. Peter & Paul's church Saturday, March 6th. The family of the late Martin Winckler wish to thank those who were helpful and sympathetic during their bereavement, through the death of their father. The Naperville Clarion March 10, 1909
