Fort Bend Herald, February 16, 2010: Shirley Ann Loessin, 66, of Thompsons, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 in Conroe, after courageously fighting non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and COPD for many months. Shirley was born Dec. 2, 1943 in Sealy to Alfred and Evelyn Loessin. She is preceded in death by her parents. Shirley is survived by her children, Sibrina Loessin, Sharilyn Ivy and husband, William, and William Coffey II; grandchildren, Dustin Glasgow and wife, Nichelle, Dylan Dorman and wife, Laura, Jeremy Coffey, Matthew Ivy, and Caleb Coffey; great-grandchild, Caden Dorman; brother, Sidney Loessin and wife, Carol; along with numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Pallbearers will include members of the W.A. Parish ERT group. Honorary pallbearers will include Sidney Loessin, William Coffey, Dylan Dorman, and Raymond Engelhardt.
