Ella Lucy Billingsley, age 77, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010. She was born in Macedonia, Texas on July 14, 1932 to William E. and Ludy Esterly Pitts who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Joel C. Billingsley; sister, Bertie Mae Brock, Ethel Maxine Williams; brother, Charles E. Jackson; children, Connie Sue Billingsley, Joel Conrad Billingsley II; son-in-law, Martin Lopez. Survivors include her children, Carol Lantz and husband, Carlton, Lucy Lopez, Dorothy Baggott and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Shelle Billingsley, Keith Orsag, Lacee Millican, Sara Webb, Martina Herrera, Melissa Venegas, Caleb Lantz, Dodie Tyler, B.J. Hudgins, Jo Jo Lopez, Evonne Lopez, and Jessi Webb; fourteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasure friends beyond measure. Caleb Lantz presided over funeral services held Monday, April 12, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services followed at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers included William "B.J." Hudgins, Kholeton Billingsley, Santiago Venegas, Jay Tyler, Preston Billingsley, Robert Baggott, Buddy Rhea, Keith Orsag; honorary pallbearer, Billy Vann.
