Bio

Lewis William Grimm was born 12 March 1906 in Clifton, Bosque County, Texas. He was christened on 24 June 1906 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clifton, Bosque County, Texas as Ludwig Wilhelm Grimm. He was the son of Karl Friederich Wilhelm (Charles Fred) and Maria (Patent) Grimm. He married Nannie Mae Mobley/Patterson on 27 July 1928 in Bosque County, Texas. They Lived in Meridian for a while before moving to Dallas where he worked at Willard Battery Plant. They moved to Lake Dallas for a while but settled in Carrollton TX. Where the lived the rest of their lives. They had four children, Mary Lee, Charles Claud, Cora Sue, and Jeanie Faye (died at birth). After Nannie's death, Lewis moved into a retirement home across the street from their home in Carrollton. He met Hattie and they married on May 8, 1983.
