Bio

Jewell H. Thompson, 76, of Abilene died Monday at an Abilene hospital. Mrs. Thompson was born in Mabank and lived in Eastland, Ranger and Wichita Falls before moving to Abilene in 1952. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2012 in Abilene. She married L.O. Thompson in 1952 in Albany. Survivors include her husband of Abilene; one son, W.C. Brashear of Fox Lake, Wis.; one stepson, James Thompson of Henderson; one sister, Viola Roberts of Sulphur, La.; one granddaughter, one great-grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.
