Sergeant, U.S. Army, WW II (Ret.). Husband 60 years of Adelene M. Absalon. Also survived by children, Ralph Absalon, Alan Absalon and his wife, Carole, Kay Tierney, and John Absalon and his wife, Joy; sibling, Josie Absalon; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside services with full military honors followed Mass of Christian Burial offered at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Vienna, VA, Friday, December 19, 2008.
