MELBOURNE - Tom W. Dawson, 75, died Saturday, August 18, 2001. Tom was born in O'Donnell, Texas and moved to Melbourne in 1959 from Fort Worth, Texas. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired communications technician for R.C.A. Tom was a member of Bowe Gardens Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce; daughters, Sherrie Frederick and husband, Mike of Palm Bay; Robbie Mowery and husband, Art of Edgewater, Toni Langley and husband, Dave of West Melbourne; grandchildren, David and Tracey Dorozynski, Art and Kim Mowery, Deanna and John Root, Tom and Sara Mowery, and Joyce and Traci Wilson; great-grandchildren, John Root, Alex and Kayla Dorozynski Morgan and Taylor Mowery; brothers, Joe Dawson of Lakewood, Calif, Herbert and Charles Dawson, both of Fort Worth, Texas; and sister, Wanda West of Fort Worth.
