Bio

Newton Futral Cole was the son of Henry Asbury Cole of Black Hawk, MS. Newton Cole married Jessie Ephelia Pritchard and lived in Minter City, Leflore County, MS. He chose to be buried in Itta Bena, because they lost an infant who was buried here---but the infant's grave marker has been lost. Newton F. Cole's son, N. F. Cole, Jr. also lived in Minter City and was buried here along with his wife Lillibeth (Hill) Cole.
