The following obituary was copied as it was printed in the Friday, December 11, 1936 edition of The Lampasas Leader. Contributed by FAG member Sue Lilley. "INFANT BURIED HERE THURSDAY AFTERNOON" "Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon for Sam W. Buchanan, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford F. Buchanan. The service was conducted by Rev. Olin W. Nail, pastor of the Methodist Church, at the home and in Oak Hill cemetery. The baby is a grandson of Mrs. Pearl Carrigan. The bereaved parents and relatives have the sympathy of many friends here in their sorrow." ==================================
