C.M. Oakley married Edna Maxwell on 26 August 1935 in San Diego, California. C.M. Oakley had lived at 1014 South Seaman since 1946. He had worked as a desk clerk at the Village Hotel since he came to Eastland. Surviving include his wife; one son - Roy L. Oakley; one daughter - Mrs. Norma J. Merrill; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren.
