HUDDLESTON, Bobbie Ruth Passon, 70, Ripley, died March 21, 2010 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born March 19, 1940 in Waco, TX to Clarence Art Passon and Edna Ruth McClain Tubbs, and was a member of Falkner Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Cancer Society and Tippah Relay for Life Committee, chairman of the Survivors Reception for five years and a member of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Tippah County. She collected more than 500 bras during the 2009 campaign. She worked for the Sheriff''s Dept, Ripley Clinic, Falkner Post Office, and Falkner Schools for 30 years, the last 12 years with special needs children. She was a retired teacher's assistant. Services were March 24 at 2 pm at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Falkner Cemetery. Bro Stanley Huddleston and Bro Mark Jones officiated. Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Guy Huddleston, Ripley; one daughter, Cheryl Heavener (Lonnie), Ripley; one son, David Brent Huddleston (Brenda), Brandon; one sister, JoAnn Voight, Ridgeland; 5 grandchildren, Kayla Dawn, Kristin Nicole and Matthew Brent Huddleston, all of Brandon and Wesley Neil and Marilee Ruth Heavener, both of Ripley; 10 nieces and 6 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews. Pallbearers were Nathan Hoeizel, Harlon Lott, Steve Glidewell, Ronnie Huddleston, Don Huddleston, Bill Huddleston, Wade Huddleston and Jesse Lott.
