Alfred William Oberste, 82, of Fort Smith, AR, died Monday, April 5, 2010, in a local hospital. He was born September 13, 1927 in Clarksville, AR. He was retired from Dixie Cup. He was an avid Saint Louis Cardinal Fan and Razorback Fan. He was preceded in death by his wife Joy Lee Oberste. Funeral service was Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Union Grove Cemetery near Clarksville, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived by two sons Bryan Oberste of Fort Smith, AR and William Oberste of Fort Smith, AR, two sisters Mary Jo Yutterman of Muldrow, OK and Teresa Soerries of Tulsa, OK, one brother Edwin Oberste of Belton, MO and five grandsons. Pallbearers were Zachary Houston, Tyler Houston, Nicholas Houston and Kyle Ritchie.
