Johnnie H. Anderson RAINEY, Miss. - Johnnie H. Anderson, a Rainey resident, died Friday at a Hattiesburg, Miss., hospital. He was 83. Rainey, a World War II veteran who served in Europe and North Africa, was a farmer and a state meat inspector with the Mississippi Department of Agriculture before retiring in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Emily Lou Christopher Anderson of Rainey; five daughters, Tina Hoda and Lisa Murdock, both of Hattiesburg, Debbie Clark of Stringer, Miss., Sally Morgan of Daphne and Julie Sutton of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Glenn Anderson of Yazoo City, Miss.; a sister, Verl Jordan of Ellisville, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 until 7 tonight at Jones Funeral Home in Moselle, Miss. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Soule's Chapel United Methodist Church in Rainey. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Soule's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
