S/O Hallis & Jessie Lee Owens Weir; served during the Korean War; md Shirley Lee Garrett "Galveston Daily News," Dec. 7 1967 Hallis Lee Weir, 35. of 1925 14th Ave. North. Texas City, died Wednesday in Galveston County Memorial Hospital Funeral services will be held at IO a rn Friday at the First Baptist Church, Texas City, with the Rev. Jam es R. Maples officiating. Burial will he in Forest Park East Cemetery in League City. Arrangements by Emken-Linton Funeral Home, Texas City. Mr. Weir was born Oct. I, 1932. in Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Texas City, and an employee of the Monsanto Co He served during the Korean conflict.
