father: Joseph Stodola (1850-1920) mother: Anna Cejka Frank Joseph Stodola was born July 21, 1881 probably at Doly near Raboun in the region of Chrudim, eastern Bohemia, a part of Austria then and arrived in New York November 19, 1904, on the ship Pretoria, sailing from Hamburg, Germany, with his sister, Marie. They came to the farm home of a sister, Anna (Mrs. Joseph) Pulkrabek. He was married to Justina H. Sebetka, (born Kozodra, Bohemia, May 19, 1892), daughter of Joseph Frank and Marie Magdalene (Harapot) Sebetka, May 14, 1918, at St. Wenceslaus Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They lived in Clutier and he was a masonry contractor until his retirement to Cedar Rapids, where he died April 17, 1968. Justina, a registered nurse, died June 23,1975. Both are buried at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, rural Clutier. Their son, Stanley John, (born Nov. 22, 1919) married Pauline Barbara Dostal on August 29, 1946. Their children are Kevin Carl, Steven James, Ken Michael, Stanley Dean, Randall Joseph, Ron Allen Gerard, and Jan Marie. by Cecelia N.
