Sebetka, 76, of Traer was Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. John Peters as celebrant and the Rev. Louis Wunder assisting. Rosary was recited on Monday, Dec. 13, at the Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Vaclav Cemetery. She died Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo, where she had been admitted that day. Lucille M. Podhajsky was born March 17, 1906, south of Traer, the daughter of Frank and Fannee (Chalupnik) Podhajsky. She attended Perry #5 country school On June 24, 1924, she married Wesley Sebetka, and they made their home on a farm south of Traer. He preceded her in death in November of 1933, and she continued to live on the farm until moving to Traer in 1953. Their son, Frank, now live on the farm. More recently, she has been residing at Sunrise Hill Care Center. She enjoyed driving and her pet dogs. Surviving are her son, Frank of Traer; a daughter, Mrs. Glen (Marian) Thompson of Traer; and two grandchildren. Funeral organist was Mrs. Donald McLean and vocalist was Ferd Kvidera. On the flower committee were Mr. and Mrs. Don Dahms, Karlene Cochran and Shirley Kubik. In charge of mass cards were Christina Kubik and Sylvia Podhajsky. Casket bearers were Duane McNeal, Pressley Cochran, Charles Dolezal, Charles Mishek, Marvin Seda, and Wesley Sebetka. Honorary casket bearers were Charles Husak, Ludwig Seda, LeRoy Staker, Jimmy Podhajsky, Earl Hoeppner and Joe Melichar.
