Bio

James Dodson Barbee married Miss Ruth Elizabeth Drake. She preceded him in death on 22 October 1953 in San Angelo, Texas. James Dodson Barbee was born in Lexington, Kentucky. He moved to Baylor County in 1913 and for several years he had lived on a farm in the England community. For a long time, he was an employee of the Farmers Gin in Seymour, retiring a few years ago. Services were held in the Seymour Church of Christ. Surviving are one step-daughter - Mrs. Dorene Wright; two sisters - Mrs. Inez Kylie and Mrs. Avis Stewart. Baylor County Banner February 9, 1963
