Apache Review O. LEON SMITH LAST RITES HELD O. Leon Smith, 68, a dentist, died Wednesday June 18 at a Fort Worth hospital after a heart attack. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday June 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, where he was a member. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Smith, who was born in Apache, graduated in 1941 from Oklahoma State University and in 1944 from the University of Tennessee Dental School. He moved to Fort Worth in 1948 and had his own dental practice for 38 years. He was a member of the Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Mosiah Temple Shrine Patrol, Fort Worth Dental Society and the Texas Dental Society. Survivors include his wife, Travette Lasley Smith of Fort Worth; one son, Thad L. Smith of Fort Worth; one daughter, Tamara Arnn of Arlington, Tex.; two sisters, Oda Belcher and Hazel Leonberger, both of Apache, Ok.; and five grandchildren.
