GLADYS A. LEATHERMAN Gladys A. Leatherman. 82, of 1427 S. Limestone St., died in Mercy Medical Center at 3:10 a.m. Monday following a lengthy illness. A life member of Central United Methodist Church, she attended Wittenberg University, where she received a master's degree. She was a science teacher at the Wittenberg Academy and Springfield High School for a number of years. Miss Leatherman was born in Springfield, on Aug. 5, 1893, the daughter of Nicholas and Katherine Altman Leatherman. She is survived by several cousins. Her body was sent to Ohio State University Department of Anatomy for medical research. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Central United Methodist Chapel of the Good Shepherd by the Rev. Herbert Massey.
