Felix is the s/o Jonathan Souther, b. 1827 in Seabrook, Rockingham Co., NH, and d. 1855 in most likely Newburyport, Essex Co., Mass. His mother is Catherine (McGuire) Souther, b. ant. 1831 in Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Catherine is widowed in the Massachusetts state 1855 census in Essex county and "Phelix" is age 1. Catherine remarried a Charles McGuire Sr. in Winona, MN in 1863...they both had the same last name and they both died in Fillmore Co., MN. Felix married Cora Blanchard in 1898 just across the river in La Crosse, La Crosse Co., WI and had the following children all born in MN: George Henry, Merton Harry, Hazel Verona, Fern M., and Violet V., and Ruby. All of this family is buried in LaPorte Co., IN but Ruby is in West Palm Beach, Fl.
