Bio
Dorothy Vivian Michaud, 81, died at her home last Tuesday. She was Born Feb. 19, 1929, at her maternal grandparent's home near Bostwick. She attended school in Bostwick and graduated from Superior High School. She married Bobbie Dean Michaud, of Nov. 7, 1948, near Bostwick. She was a wife, mother, teacher, childcare provider and bookkeeper. She retired in 1995. Visitation was held on Sunday at Wyuka Funeral Home. The funeral service was held on Monday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Lincoln. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bobbie D. Michaud, of Lincoln; siblings: Mary Hoel, Russel Lewis, Jean Pester and John Lewis. Sons: Garald, Mt. Hope, Kan., James, Anchorage, Alaska, Robert, Denton, Neb.; Mark and Brian of Lincoln, Neb., grandchildren: Kaleb, Sara, Zachary, Lori, Rachel, Joel, Joshua, Logan, Samantha and Garrett Michaud ; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Alta (Shambaugh) Lewis. Burial was in Wyuka Cemetery. Wyuka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
