John R.McCutcheon was born 6 Sept 1877 near Rices Crossing. He died 14 Aug 1932 at his home on West Seventh St. in Hutto. He was survived by his wife Honora, 2 sisters, Misses Annie Gertrude and Katherine McCutcheon, both of Taylor; and three brothers, Beau Kenneth of Taylor, William Thomas and Joseph James both of Hutto. John R. was buried, Shiloh Cemetery. His parents were Joseph Thomas and Annie Catherine Evans McCutcheon.
