Paul A. Hannel Sr., 72, Bowling Green, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, died Friday, November 24. He was a machine repairman 33 years for Chrysler Foundry, retiring in 1984. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 550. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America. Services: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28 in Flanner & Buchanan Decatur Township Mortuary, with calling from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, November 27. Burial: Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby. Survivors: wife D. Joan Cogswell Hannel; children Paul A. Jr., Mark D., Eric M.,Terry C. Hannel, Dawn J. Thompson; sisters Jane Beals, Clara Lindsey, Katherine Raines; brother George Hannell; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
