Bio

Archie M. Gilbreath Jr., 87, of Palo Cedro will be from noon to 7 p.m. Monday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Mr. Gilbreath died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Applewood Inn care center in Redding. Born July 8, 1918, in Lone Wolf, Okla., he moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Anaheim. He served in the U.S. Army, owned Gilbreath Trucking in Palo Cedro, and was a member of the California Dump Truck Owners Association, the Elks Lodge and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1006, all in Redding, and a founding member of Palo Cedro Riders club. They were married 4 Jul 1941 Monahans, Ward County, Texas, USA
