Bio
Bobby Honza, 52, of Ennis, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 in the Ennis Regional Medical Center. Bobby was born March 14, 1956 in Ennis, Texas to parents Charlie L. Honza and Mary Libby Kaspar Honza. He was educated in St. John Schools and graduated in 1974. September 11, 1976, he was married to Doreen Martinek and they made their home in Ennis. He worked for the Cody Company for a short time, then for Corporate Express (formerly Data Documents), in Hutchins, Texas for thirty years as a Press Operator. Bobby loved baseball and spent much of his time coaching St. John Girl's Softball and Boy's Little League Baseball. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, KJT and SPJST. He is survived by one son, Bryan Honza, and his wife, Sarah, of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Julie Honza, and her boyfriend Biff Thornton of McKinney, Texas; one brother, Ronnie Honza, and mother of his children, Doreen Honza. Nieces amd nephews, Jennifer, Leon, and Dustin Zajic, Timothy Woodard. Five godchildren: Cynthia Kovar, Daniel Price and Staci Price, Christina Reyna, Brianna Reyna; He is preceded in death by his parents. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in the Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. John's Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Bill Watson, Ruben Cervantes, Andrew (Woody) Anderson, Timothy Woodard, Danny Strunc, Billy Dlabaj, A. J. Vitovsky and Gary Valek.
