Bio
Mary Ann Kubin, 77, passed away at Ennis Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 20, 2010. She was born October 14, 1932 in Ennis, Texas to Frank and Annie (Skrivanek) Koubek. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1950. On September 20, 1958 she married Leslie Otto Kubin and they made their home in Ennis. She worked as a Bookkeeper for nine years at the Ford Dealership, Ennis Motor Company. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and a fifty year member of WFLA Lodge #402. She is survived by her husband, Leslie O. Kubin; two daughters: Barbara, and her husband, Gorden Macalik, and Judy Taylor; three grandchildren: Julie and Dustin Crawford, Karen Macalik and Justin Taylor. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at J.E. Keever Mortuary. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. in St. John Catholic Church with Father Antonio Ormaza officiating. Pall bearers will be Alex Wensowitch, Michael Wensowitch, Robert Burnett, Dustin Crawford, Harold Honza and Bobby Kubin. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
