Daily Inter Lake, Kalispell, MT, 9 May 1942 Cyril Method Hellman was born in Moravia, July 3, 1871. At the age of three years, he came to the United States with his parents and lived on a farm at Brainard, Nebraska. At the age of 18, Mr. Hellman went to Denver, Colorado where he was employed about five years. In 1894 he came to the Flathead and lived in the Fairview and Cedar Lake districts for a time then homesteaded in the Bad Rock district. He was married Dec. 31, 1900 to Miss Ida Ladenburg and they continued to make their home on the farm. Mr. Hellman had been ill for some time and passed away at his home, May 5, 1942, at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Ida Hellman at home, two sons, Hubert of Columbia Falls, and John of Glendale, California, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Daniel and Mrs. George DeFlyer of Columbia Falls, and Mrs. Jack Gordon of San Francisco, two grandchildren, one brother, Frank Hellman, of Brainard, Nebraska, and three sisters, Mrs. John Rozmahel of British Columbia, MRs. Frank Dolazel of Bruno, Nebraska, and Mrs. Adolph Klein of Stockton, California. Funeral services in St. Charles church in Columbia Falls. Interment in St. Richards cemetery.
