Services At Hedley For R.R. Stotts Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Christian Church in Hedley for R.R. (Jerry) Stotts, with Rev. Tom Posey, pastor of the Christian Church in Memphis officiating. Interment was in Rowe Cemetery, Hedley. Mr. Stotts, 58, a native of Cooper, had been employed 23 years as a bridge carpenter by the Fort Worth annd Denver railway. He died in a Fort Worth hospital Sunday following an illness of one year. He married Mary Sue Foster, Nov. 26, 1938, and the couple moved to Giles where they have continued to make their home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.E. Nelson, Fort Worth; Miss Nelda Sue Stotts, Giles; a sister, Mrs. A.S. Edwards, Fort Worth; three brothers, Alvin and Tom Stotts, Enid, Okla.; Harvey Stotts, Fort Worth; two half brothers, John Stotts, Lelia Lake; Arthur Sandridge, Childress; and by two grandchildren.
