William C. Foster GILES - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Hedley for William Charlie Foster, 64, a longtime resident of Giles who died Tuesday morning in Veterans Adminstration Hospital in Amarillo. Officiating will be the Rev. J.J. Terry, pastor. Additional services will be conducted in the Rowe Cemetery in Hedley by the Hedley American Legion Adamson-Lane Post 287, of which Mr. Foster was a member. Burial will be by Spicer Funeral Home of Memphis. Mr. Foster had been a resident of Giles for 49 years. He was a farmer. He was a bus driver for the Memphis high school and waws [sic] a former bus driver for the Hedley independent schools. Surviving are his wife, Audra; three brothers, H.M. "Hub" of 3608 S. Bryan and J.D. of 101 N. Palo Duro, both in Amarillo, and Milton E. of Laverne, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sue Stotts of Memphis and Mrs. Homer Greer of Childress, and his mother, Mrs. George T. Foster of Memphis. The family requests that any memorials be to favorite charities or to the American Cancer Society. Foster, 64, brother of Mrs. Homer Greer of Childress, were held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church in Hedley and burial was in Giles. He had been a resident of that community for the past 49 years and died Tuesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Amarillo. He was a farmer and former bus driver for both the Memphis and Hedley School Systems.
