BOYD, DONALD R., 75 Ocala - Donald R. Boyd, age 75, passed away Saturday, December 8th, 2007 at Sylvia's Hospice, Ocala. He was born in Murfreesboro, AR. Mr. Boyd retired from the United States Coast Guard after 26 years and worked as a building contractor and a regional supervisor for Pacific Telcom in Washington and Oregon. He also worked as a senior engineer at Marin Marietta, Ocala. He enjoyed driving the V.A. van from Ocala to Gainesville, Florida and enjoyed helping people. Donald was a Wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maryellen; sons, Mark and Scott Boyd of Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Stacy, Jennifer and Andrew Boyd of Miami, Stefanie Boyd and Isabella Quinones of Tallahassee, Florida; and sisters, Ana Jean Short of Nashvile, AR and Millowee Burngarner of Amarillo, Texas.
