Bio

CHILDRESS - Roland Duane Bledsoe, 67, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Clavary Baptist Church with Shane Kendrix officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Bledsoe married Donna June 12, 1985, in Las Vegas, N.M. He was a wonderful husband and father who possessed a great capacity to love. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Wendy Proffitt and Candace Suzanne Bledsoe, both of Childress, and Susan Sellwers of Palmdale, Calif.; four sons, Mitchell Bledsoe of Childress and Ronald Dreiling Jr., Steven Dreiling and Richard Dreiling, all of Palmdale; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his mother, Eva Bledsoe; and three sisters, Faye Cappan, Jeanie Ware and Carelean Hamilton.
