Sallie Ann "Annie" Stephens Hastings Weddington was born Tuesday, December 20, 1887 in Tennessee to Andrew Jackson Stephens and Minerva Parilee Stewart Stephens . ~ Mrs. Weddington Is Buried Today Mrs. Annie Weddington, 53, died at her home at 2 Ninth avenue at 5 p.m. Sunday, after a long illness. Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Thompson, Mrs. Leona Bailey , and Mrs. Zella Mae Vickers , all of Huntsville, and Mrs. Alurenea Harris of Anniston. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today at the residence, the Rev. Charles Rigby officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery, with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
