Bio
Kathy Herron, 73, died Sunday June 29, 1997 at Golden Plains Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 1, 1997 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Herron was born in Cooper, Texas. She married Hollie Herron on Oct. 8, 1949 in Clarendon. She was a beauty operator for 20 years. She was also a cook for the B.I.S.D. for 15 years. Survivors include her husband, Hollie Herron of Borger; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lavena Herron of Borger; three brothers, J.C. Henry of Amarillo, Bill Henry of Artesia, N.M. and D.P. Henry of Livingston, Cal.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Michelle Herron and Ryan Mikel Herron both of Borger. Pall bearers will be Joe Brawley, Johnny Howard, James Davis, Ryan Mikel Herron, B.J. Jackson, G.E. Kite and Jay White.
