Oleta Nichols, 90, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010, in Glen Rose. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Nichols was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Granbury to James Lawrence Wiggins and Fannie Bell Morrison Wiggins. She married Jack Reed Nichols, Sept. 24, 1938, in Granbury. Oleta was a lifelong resident of Granbury except for a time in California. She was the owner and operator of Rose Garden Antiques and was a member of the Royal Neighbors Club. She was a member of Mambrino Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors: Son, Larry Nichols and wife, Maureen, of Micco, Fla.; grandchildren, Curtis Nichols and wife, Melissa, Theresa Kathleen Beets; great-grandchildren, Jack R. Nichols and wife, Ashley, Gregory Beets and wife, Amanda, Jessica Beets; great-great-grandchild, Dillon Nichols; sister, Willie Mae Massey and husband, Julian, of Granbury.
