Bio

Walter E. Braddock married Estelle Reed in 1907 at South Bend, Texas. Walter E. Braddock was an early Young County teacher beginning in Fish Creek. He was connected with John E. Morrison company for many years and never lost interest in the Graham schools. He was a leader in the Methodist Church have served in many capabilities. He served as chairman of the official Methodist board for three years, teaching a Sunday School Class in the Junior Department hwen he first moving to Graham, Texas. He served on the board as a member for many years, usher and head usher for some time. He was a steward at South Bend Methodist Church before moving to Graham, Texas. Walter E. Braddock served the First National Bank in Graham for 20 years. He recalled Graham P. Stewart when he was first employed who was then serving as the President of the bank. Walter Braddock had seen many changes in accounting, modern machinery and drive-in facilities. Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. Volney Castles; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
