Dickenson Service Held Funeral services for Willie Dickenson, 74, Carnegie farmer, were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 23, in the local United Methodist Church with Rev. Eugene Cooprider, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Pitcher Funeral Home. Dickenson died last Friday after a brief critical illness in a Lawton hospital. Dickenson was born August 29, 1900 in Texas. He had moved to the Carnegie area in 1916 and was a farmer three miles south of Carnegie. He owned the acreage site of the Carnegie Golf Course. He had been a member of the Alfalfa Odd Fellows Lodge since 1941. Survivors include his wife, Bessie of the home; one son, Vernon Dickenson of Carnegie; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
