Ellie Mahaffey Knippers 69, Grand Bay. Ala., died Sunday, Aug. 14 1994 in Pascagoula. Mrs. Knippers was born April 1, 1925, in Mittie. La., and was formerly of Pascagoula. She was the co-founder of Pas-Point Insulation Co in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her husband CD Knippers and a son Earnest L Mahaffey. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Mark (Barbara) Hamilton of Grand Bay; three sons, Wayne Knippers, Douglas Knippers, and Dickie Knippers; three brothers, Melvin Mahaffey, Stephen Mahaffey, and James Mahaffey; two sisters, Betty Wynn and Laura Faye Hobbs; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point A service will be Wednesday at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with burial in Serene Memorial.
